Five things that most people don’t know about me. This is a challenge given to me by sister KhadijaTeri

1. I am extremely scared of escalators, especially down, fast or wide escalators. I don’t quite know when this fear started, but I do remember a friend (who lived in Hawaii and you could go into department stores barefoot) tell me about a friend of hers that had their foot stuck on an escalator. That story always stuck with me.

2. I am secretly attracted to men that have goatees (not the real pointy kind). I have never dated anyone with one, but I definitely find them attractive.

3. I have never been the kind of girl that dreams or imagines her wedding day, but I have my honeymoon all planned out. One week in the Seychelles Islands, maybe a quick stop in Madagascar, a few days sight seeing in Cape Town and Johannesburg, and of course go on safari. A girl can dream… Can’t she?

4. My absolute favorite TV show is M*A*S*H. I TiVo the 12AM M*A*S*H on the Hallmark Channel every night. I save at least two episodes, just in case I need a M*A*S*H fix.

5. Of the things that I like about being a nurse, IM (intramuscular) shots rank up close to the top. You know the kind… The real long needles (about an inch and a half) that go deep into the tissue and past the fat, right in to the muscle; usually given in the butt. They actually don’t hurt that much… At least that’s what my patients tell me.
